Jaipur Zoo is in Jaipur, Rajasthan in India, formerly known as Jodhpur. The zoo has been opened in 18:77 and is situated near the Albert Hall Museum & Ramnas Garden. It consists of more than a hundred animals, including crocodiles, hippos, bears, and monkeys.

There are a couple of reasons why a visitor should visit the zoo in Jaipur. One of them is that the zoo is an excellent venue for lion safari. The fourth park within Jaipur Zoo is called the Sawai Madhopur Bird Sanctuary. The sanctuary offers different species of birds from all over the world. The best time to visit the park is between April to May. The zoo is within walking distance to the railway station, Indira Gandhi International Airport, Jantar Mantar Observatory, and the famous Leaning Temple.

One should not miss the opportunity to ride on an elephant. The zoo has four different viewing platforms, where one can watch elephants perform a variety of actions. The zoo has an area where birds from all over the world can be seen. The park has many species of mammals, reptiles, and birds, which offer various encounters to the visitors. The timings to visit in the zoo are – 

8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. in summers 

9:00 a.m. – 5:00p.m. in winters

The zoo is located inside the premises of Ram Niwas Garden, which is the prime location of the city. To reach there, the visitors can also hire a cab, or they can also enjoy the services of Public Buses or Auto – Rickshaw
