PMI Events in San Francisco

Project Management Institute (PMI) is a global non-profit association dedicated to advancing the profession of project management. The PMI San Francisco Bay Area Chapter (PMISFBAC) is one of the largest PMI chapters with a membership base of over 3000 members and growing. Some of the chapter’s activities and programs include organizing PMI Events in San Francisco, regional seminars and webinars, and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification training in San Francisco.

The chapter is led by volunteers and open to PMI members. When you become a member of PMISFBAC, you get to participate in exciting events, meet new peers and share your knowledge and expertise for the benefit of others in the same profession. PMI San Francisco Bay Area Chapter holds monthly evening meetings and breakfast roundtables with additional programs throughout the year designed to meet the membership needs. The need for clear communication over a dozen project management tools and public speaking is a prerequisite in project management. The Toastmasters club at the PMI San Francisco Bay Area Chapter helps you develop speaking and leadership skills to grow both personally and professionally in the field of project management. There are regular monthly events which members can register and attend to master the art. You can grow into an avid speaker and adapt to the fast-changing scenario with crispness and clarity in communication with stakeholders and team members.

For those interested in acquiring Agile and Scrum certifications, the PMI San Francisco Bay Area Chapter has a partnership with HyperDrive Scrum Alliance for certified trainers. This is one of the most advanced certifications and a great asset for project leaders who wish to enter the big league.
