Law essay help

The world is in a major crisis due to the spread of the pandemic. All countries are grappling with the rising number of coronavirus cases. Hospitals in several states are feeling helpless due to the shortage of medical beds and oxygen. The pandemic brought havoc in the world. Thousands of people are dying due to the lack of oxygen.

Thus, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) introduce innovative, home-grown technology to save COVID-19 patients who are dying due to the storage cylinders and oxygen. They took the initiative of setting up 500 medical oxygen plants (MOPs) in three months of collaboration with the private sector. The plants will be established within three months under the Relied on Emergency Situation (PM CARES) Fund and Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance.

The DRDO spokesperson said, “Medical Oxygen Plant technology is capable of generating oxygen with 93±3% concentration which can be directly supplied to hospital beds or can be used to fill medical oxygen cylinders. It utilises the Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technique and Molecular Sieve (Zeolite) technology to separate oxygen from atmospheric air…”

Each oxygen plant is designed of producing 1,000 litres of oxygen per minute (LPM). It is capable of catering to 190 patients and thus can charge 195 cylinders per day. As per the officials, “The oxygen plant is designed for a capacity of 1,000 litres per minute and can cater to 190 patients and can charge 195 cylinders per day.

The MOP technology will be useful to provide oxygen supply during Covid-19 in hospitals in urban and rural areas. Hospitals will be able to generate on-site medical oxygen, in a cost-effective manner with this oxygen plant rather than depending upon sourcing it from other places…”

MOP technology will be the essential item for producing oxygen supply during the Corona pandemic in hospital in urban and rural areas in a cost-effective manner Law essay help. DRDO’s Electromedical Laboratory has developed technology infused into MOPs, Defence Engineering and Bengaluru (DEBEL) for generating oxygen onboard the Tejas light combat aircraft (LCA).

They have the capacity of generating oxygen with 93±3 concentration directly supplied to hospital beds or for filling medical oxygen cylinders even utilises Molecular Sieve (Zeolite) technology and Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) for directly generating oxygen from atmospheric air.

The installation of the plant will help hospitals with scarce oxygen cylinders, especially at inaccessible remote and high altitude areas. At some of the army sites in the Leh-Ladakh region and North East, MOP has already been installed. The plant complies with Standards like US, European, ISO 1008 and Indian Pharmacopeia.

DRDO transferred the technology to Tata Advanced Systems Limited, Coimbatore, Bengaluru, and Trident Pneumatics Pvt. Ltd will be producing 380 plants for installations across the hospitals in the country. These 380 oxygen plants will get installed in various hospitals in the country. Firms are working with the Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun, working under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) to produce another 120 plants.

They use the PSA technique for separating different gases in a mixture. Each of the gas will attract different solid surfaced to a larger or lesser extent assignment writing service. Air is a mixture of oxygen and nitrogen that is pushed under pressure through a vessel that contains an adsorbent bed of zeolite paper help. Since nitrogen is more strongly attracted to zeolite than oxygen, it will be absorbed in the bed. The gas coming out of the vessel is mostly rich in oxygen.

The higher the air pressure is pumped, the more nitrogen will absorb the zeolite bed. As the bed gets saturated, nitrogen will be released by reducing the pressure. As the nitrogen gets released, it will prepare the plant for another cycle of producing oxygen-enriched air.

SUMMING UP,

The installation of these plants is like the answer to millions of prayers around the world. It is utter madness to see people madly searching for an empty hospital bed and oxygen cylinders. The installation of these oxygen plants will help hospitals generate medical oxygen at a cheap rate.

Even RakshaMantriRajnath Singh has appreciated the move of DRDO for generating oxygen which will assignment help with overcoming the deadly pandemic. Oxygen is an essential clinical gas in health care centres, and with more people coming in contact with the virus, there is a deficit in oxygen in hospitals.
