Every year, around 15 June. Local people from 15 villages came and prayed for good health and harvest and with great pomp celebrated this fair. I’m a local here, these days were really nice and pleasant. It was very nice to spend the night under the open sky without tents, not only for all the cows we used to live in like this. Why Kedarkantha is Uttarakhand, India’s most popular winter trek?

It is true, the most popular winter trek in Uttarakhand and the world today is Kedarkantha. The Kedarkantha trek, therefore, is Uttarakhand’s leading and most popular winter trek. In the winter it has unparalleled beauty and almost winter the path hides in a large snow blanket.

Usually the lush green forests turn white and become a little marvelous land. The Kedarkantha Trek is therefore not only for expert walkers, but also for amateurs and children.

The view of the winter here is a little different. Snow, snow covered mountains, and lovely river rivulets and birds should be all around. Once someone has reached the camp on the Sankri market, they are in a different world of mind, Sankri is a lovely and small market with all the beautiful houses and hotels around, here the morning and night view here is different.
