4.Itinerary

Day 1:

You will be starting before 10:00 AM from the Bhagsu naag and ahead for hiking to Triund top. While reaching there,you will be introduced to the Bhagsu stunning waterfalls and deodar and oak plantations and also Shiva cafe rhododendrons wood. An attractive panoramic view of Mcleodganj,Kangra valley, Dharamsala valley overwhelms you strongly. Later, rest for the lunch break on your way of trekking. Triund trek is pinned at the edge of the ridge. Either side of it you can observe Dhauladhar and Kangra mountain ranges. Later, have a campaign for night at the best place where you can enjoy bonfire,star night all night. 

Day 2:

After the completion of trek to the top of Triund you will checkout and return to Bhagsu naag

You can catch up with the stunning picturesque views of sunrise at Triund top if you wake up early. And have breakfast and start to downhill the Triund trek back to Mcleodganj. 

5.HOW TO REACH TRIUND

Triund is very fond of the Dharamshala of Himachal Pradesh. So,if you plan to trek the Triund then go to Dharamshala first. Most of the modes of transportation services are well connected to Dharamshala. 

By Air–

If you are planning to fly then make a destination arrival to Dharamshala which is well connected to national airports and best reach spot. From there you can reach Mcleodganj from buses. Later you need to hire a taxi or can to travel to the initial trek spot.

By Bus–

Bus service is the most accessible travel service to consider. If you are planning to come from Delhi or Chandigarh then come by buses within a limited package. Take a direct bus to Dharamsala that takes you within 8-10 hours. 

By train –

If you are looking for the cheapest way of transportation then choose railway services. You can reach Dharamsala by train too. To reach Dharamsala you need to choose the Pathankot train which arrives within 2-3 hours. 

6.WHEN TO VISIT

Except heavy snowfall seasons which are in between the months of January and February are not allowed to trek the Triund. And mostly the monsoon period of months September to October are not allowed due to heavy rainfall. So,if you are looking to visit the Triund trek expect these season timings you can enjoy the best of Triund. So, make sure you plan except for these timings.  December to March is the best time for snow lovers to visit the Triund which is full of snow.
