Flora Fountain
Flora Fountain is a popular tourist attraction in Churchgate. It sits in the same spot where Mumbai’s devastated ChurchGate once stood.
Fine carvings and sculptures adorn this Portland stone edifice. Different statues adorn each of the four corners. Stone fish figurines and lion heads adorn the water basin below.
The fountain’s top is adorned with a stunning 7-foot-tall statue of the Roman Goddess Flora. In the evening, when the Flora Fountain is illuminated by lights, you can enjoy a wonderful view of it.
Jehangir Art Gallery
Jehangir Art Gallery has made a significant contribution to the development of contemporary Indian art. It was founded in 1952 thanks to Sir Cowasji Jehangir’s contributions. This art gallery has hosted countless exhibitions for painters, sculptors, and other artists since then.
However, it serves as much than just a location for art exhibitions. Workshops and other art programmes are held at the Jehangir Art Gallery. It’s also a must-see for aspiring painters and art collectors.
Marine Drive
The Marine Drive is another attraction in Mumbai. This 3-kilometer length of road, officially known as Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Road, stretches along the coast and has six lanes. It is situated in the southern part of Mumbai and extends northwards. Marine Drive creates a natural bay that hypnotises visitors with its tranquil scenery.
Girgaon Chowpatty
Girgaon Chowpatty is one of Mumbai’s most prominent beaches. It is also one of Mumbai’s busiest tourist destinations. However, it is a popular tourist destination.
In the morning, you’ll see a variety of folks walking down the shore, doing their regular workouts, or doing yoga. During the day, people come here to rest and be entertained with their friends and family. Throughout the day, a variety of magicians and street performers perform.
Sunbathing and other water activities are not popular in Girgaon Chowpatty. Instead, it’s known for its wide range of street food. The food vendors have a wide variety of selections, from spicy bhel puri to sizzling hot pav-bhaji.
