Speeding Up Heavenly Floods: For the Thirsty, Nathan French, a Washington State clergyman, gives special attention to his conversations with God. The Frenchman earlier wrote that IT’S NOT A SECRET: God Wants to Talk to You, in which he discusses his mysterious drug use and a failed suicide attempt – failed because he believes God intervened to save him with better things.
Nathan’s father, also a former pastor, came to take him home and help start the healing process. Moreover, his mother was his great supporter and editor of his writings, fully believing in his son’s ability to communicate with God and to convey His words. Clearly, God has blessed Nathan with wonderful parents with the help of paladin names.
In Rushing the Floodgates of Heaven, Nathan shared with readers his writings he wrote between September 2011 and April 2012, picking up where he left his first book. For each entry, he records what he hears God tell him.
Isaiah and Jeremiah
These are not prophecies like those of Isaiah and Jeremiah, but rather friendly conversations, even though the Old Testament word of God sounds as good here as Jesus’ gentle voice. Apart from the words themselves, Nathan often has the idea of Jesus doing simple things like sitting next to Him which shows the closeness God desires to have with all of His children. Remember that Isaiah and Jeremiah also used as miqo’te names at many places.
In the verses, we find a few clues about Nathan’s approach to God. Nathan writes down what God told him. In one verse, God says:
“When I say these things to you, it is important to remember that you do much better if you do not have your thoughts on the road. Just write the word I give you next. Your faith produces the next word. How do you know that it comes from me.”
In another verse, God says:
“Note that when you write with faith, you do not know what the next word will be until you write the last one. Write with faith – not with thoughts. Prepare the details with My Spirit, passing through the mind and sending signals from the heart. The heart is pure, the pure signal. Wipe everything that does not shine in the light and let My light shine shine. “
But more important is the process of how Nathan communicates with God through the words God shares with him.
Some of these words are quite strange. For example, during a church service, God tells Nathan:
“Point to the solution – don’t focus on the problem. Always remember that I reward every act of faith. Put your foot in the water and strike the rock the way I tell you. I am preparing to bring fire, and someone will see me. Raise your hands to the sky, then lay them down and say, ‘I let go of the Holy Fire of heaven . ‘ I will go down to cleanse my saints. “
His feet were so hot that he took off his shoes for a few days.”
Messages
All messages have daily themes or topics, and sometimes there are many in a day. Topics discussed include how people treat Santa Claus compared to God, the importance of forgiveness of others, forgiveness of sins, the importance of unity among Christians, guidance on how Nathan should function as a pastor, gossip, jealousy, obedience, and the need for people to return to the Lord.
I love this passage about the importance of unity among Christians when the Lord says: “Everyone has problems and pain that need help. People need each other – the days of the Lone-Ranger-Christianity are over. Unity needs more than one.”
Regarding Nathan’s church, the Rock of Ages, God tells Nathan to explain to the people when they ask what the church’s purpose is: “We are a non-rival Christian Church. We welcome people of all faiths to focus on love and acceptance. it’s a normal part of our ministry. Equipping the body of Christ in the fullness of God is our job. “
Nathan chats with God
In another episode, Nathan chats with God, unaware that his parents are in another room listening to blind musician Andrea Bocelli on TV. In the middle of their conversation, God tells him, “The reason my blind artist is able to sing so cleanly and powerfully is because he does not see the audience. If you do not see the audience and do according to My will, it will be an open door for many to walk. My will is to bring victory.
The pain of rejection, abandonment, and the fear of failure or indulgence in past sins prevents them from seeking self-examination. great, great oppression and peace diminished.
“The secret is to clean the rooms of your heart and keep them clean by examining them often. Regular examination and meditation will help you to release guilt and anger from judgmental cases. Complete peace is found when the house is clean and orderly.

Final Words
I can cite many passages in the book as examples. Instead, I will just say that there are a few wonderful stories behind the book of times when God told Nathan to speak to certain people who allowed Him to help bring them to Christ. There are a few stories of what can be considered miraculous, such as how Nathan got the money to buy a house and how he asked God to meet Joel Osteen and God did just that on his birthday.
