lego structures

Got a box of classic LEGO bricks at home? You already have everything you need to create striking figures. The best part is that you do not need a complicated guide. Or thousands of parts. You can use simple shapes and a bit of imagination to come up with anything.

The following are simple builds any young builder can make. They are easy and promote a lot of creative play.

A simple speedy car

Begin with the simplest build: a small car.

What you need:

  • A flat base piece
  • Four small wheels
  • Rectangular bricks for the body
  • Clear pieces for the windshield.

First, construct the base. Then, add two or three layers of bricks. This will create the body of the car. To give it a sporty appearance, add a tilted brick in front. Keep it small to roll easily.

To enhance it, use bright colored Lego Classic sets, such as:

  • Red
  • Blue
  • Yellow.

A mini delivery truck

A truck is nothing but a car with a larger back part.

What you need:

  • A longer base plate
  • Four wheels
  • Taller bricks to use in the cargo section.

Construct a small driver cabin at the front. Then, leave a cargo space behind it. Use flat tiles to make a roof. Alternatively, leave it open. This way, you can haul blocks.

Try to create a tiny door with thin flat pieces. These mini trucks are excellent for fake delivery missions.

Tiny airplane

Aircrafts are entertaining to create. Thanks to the wings.

What you need:

  • A long flat piece for the body
  • Two broad flat wing pieces
  • A small piece for the tail.

Create the body with the flat piece. Then, glue the wings. Attach them equally on both sides. Ensure that they are balanced. This will ensure that the plane does not fall. At the front, add aclear brick to make the cockpit.

Go ahead and create propellers out of little round pieces. When it is complete, you can test it. Try to fly it softly in the air.

Rescue fire engine

A fire engine is a little more complicated. But you can start small.

What you need:

  • A long base
  • Six wheels (if available)
  • Red bricks
  • A ladder composed of thin pieces.

Construct a rectangular and tall body. Fix a ladder on a side or top. Then, incorporate blue pieces as lights. This truck is excellent forstorytelling and imagining fake rescue operations.

A cute puppy

You can build an imagination of your cute puppy using bricks. Here is what you need:

  • Brown bricks
  • Short flat pieces for the ears
  • Two round black pieces for the eyes
  • A small black tile for the nose.

Start with a rectangular body. Stack pieces for a sturdy base. Use a slightly smaller round brick for the head. Then, attach the ears, nose, and eyes. Focus on the dimensions. Shorter back legs will create a more playful puppy.

Final thoughts
