Dubai Parks and Resorts is an incredible collection of theme parks for kids and grownups. There’s Bollywood Parks, which offers shows, dances, rides and exciting performances based on Bollywood hit movies. LEGOLAND is a treasure trove of adventure and fun for kids, who can build airplanes and cars out of huge Legos. There are tons of Lego rides and a Lego car driving license run as well. Grownups can enjoy themselves in the Riverland entertainment and dining boulevard. Motiongate is another theme park which offers great rides based on hit Motiongate movies. The enormous IMG Worlds of Adventure is nearly 28 football fields of fun space. It is filled to the top with thrill rides which bring your favourite childhood characters to life. Meet the Powerpuff Girls, the Flintstones, Bugs Bunny, the heroes of Marvel and many others. Your kids will become part of the cartoon world through immersive rides and shows. It’s all designed in such a way that the cartoon world seems like the real world while you’re at IMG Worlds of Adventure, one of the top kid-friendly places to visit in Dubai.

Dubai Garden Glow
Dubai Garden Glow is an extravagant theme park that’s open from November to February of next year. This year, Dubai Garden Glow presents four magical themes in one place. There’s the ‘largest glow-in-dark garden’ that’s made of yards of recycled luminous fabric and millions of energy-saving bulbs. Then there’s the biggest Dinosaur Park that has over 120 animatronic Dinosaurs that can move, roar and scare the daylights out of you. The lovely Ice Park contains the most creative Ice Sculptures, while the Eco-Friendly ART Park is made out of many thousands of recyclable ceramic dishes, CDs and small glass bottles. All in all, Dubai Garden Glow theme park offers a magical journey into kid-friendly art, something you shouldn’t miss out while on your Dubai sightseeing trip.

Dubai Miracle Garden
Dubai Miracle Garden is always a hit with kids. This garden puts on a grand display of creatively arranged flowers every year. Flowering plants are grown into desired shapes, which could be airplanes, global landmarks, and heart-shaped arches and so on. Each year, the display changes, so it’s always refreshing to check out what’s going on in Dubai Miracle Garden. Your kids will love to explore this beautiful garden with its hidden gnomes, fairies and cartoon characters in their full glory.

Aquaventure Water Park
Take your kids to the Aquaventure Waterpark at Atlantis, The Palm for an adrenaline-jerking afternoon. Check out the incredible thrill rides – one of which plummets you into a tube that goes via a shark lagoon. If you have little ones along, there are plenty of tamer rides for them in the Splashers Children’s Play Area. The waterpark contains its own private beach where you can experience some cool aqua sports as well, apart from boating and cruising. So if it’s getting hot and you wonder where to go in Dubai, head straight to the Aquaventure Water Park.

VR Park, The Dubai Mall’s newest attraction, offers a stunning augmentation of virtual reality and augmented reality that’ll blow your mind. There are single and multiple player games, so the whole family can enjoy playing. Try the scary Burj Drop experience, where you’ll be propelled at speeds down the majestic Burj Khalifa. The Walking Dead Outbreak lets you face a zombie attack and survive to tell the tale. If your kids are into space navigation, they can navigate a spaceship to safety. VR Park is a treat for all ages – young kids needn’t fear to try out some tamer games.

KidZania is an award-winning concept that offers kids to experience the lives of their adults. KidZania is a kid-sized adult city, which has hospitals, factories, fire stations, schools and other buildings. It’s got paved streets, plus a functioning economy. Kids here can put on uniforms, drive cars and take up roles. They can play grown-up, and be teachers, firemen, engineers, doctors or radio-show hosts or even create their own scents as perfumers.

Kite Beach is Dubai’s most popular beach, where kids can go crazy playing on outdoor trampolines, an adventure gym and play area. There’s also a skate park. Parents can enjoy views of the Burj Al Arab while their kids enjoy Wire World’s adventure courses.

OliOli is a sprawling venue in Al Quoz that comprises of eight themed galleries. These galleries offer inventive and interactive activities for children such as launching cannonballs into the water, and Toshi’s Net – a colourful hanging play area and more. There’s also a Creative Lab where kids can tinker around with science projects. It’s the kind of place where your young ones – from age 1 to 11, can find activities suited to their ages and abilities.
