How to Create a Business Page on Facebook

3. Choose Category:

4. Enter your business information:

To complete the setup process of your business page, you’ll need to enter basic information about your business, such as:

  • Name- Write your Business name
  • Page Category- Choose one that best represents your business.
  • Address- Be accurate as this will help customers find your business much easier.
  • Phone Number- Provide correct contact details so that people can call your store directly from your Facebook page.

5. Upload your profile picture and cover photo: 

Make sure to choose such a profile picture that will draw people to your page like your product picture or business logo maybe! Similarly, you are also required to make your cover photo visually appealing and representative of your business. At the same time, keep in mind to use the correct size while choosing your Facebook profile picture and cover photo. They are a high-resolution shot of at least:

  • 170 x 170 pixels for profile photos and
  •  828 x 315 pixels for cover photos.

And once you upload your profile and cover photos, you will be directly taken to your new Facebook business page. After that, you will receive a prompt to ‘Invite friends to “Like” your page’. Then you can also add some ‘Add some additional business details’ such as business hours, short description, create a group and add a website link, etc.
